History

This still life was brought to a high of finish presenting Lack’s skills to best advantage. Charlotte Connolly saw this still life hanging in the Lack home while she had her portrait painted (No. 000). The purchase of this painting led to the Connolly’s acquiring eight additional works. After Charlotte passed away the painting was kept by her husband, Patrick. He remarried, Lise Connolly. After Patrick Connolly passed away there is no record of what happened to it.1
